Each Toki/Adze is individually hand carved from New Zealand pounamu, with the natural colour, markings and character of the stone helping to shape the finished piece.
The Toki is traditionally associated with strength, courage, determination and leadership. It can represent the ability to overcome challenges and move forward with purpose.
The Koru is inspired by the unfurling fern frond and is traditionally associated with new beginnings, growth, renewal and balance.
Together, the Toki and Koru represent strength and determination alongside growth, renewal and moving forward.
